GREGGORY RODGERS II Football c/o 2018

Hello, let me introduce myself, provide you with some updates and tell you some things about me. I am a football player from Grovetown Georgia, Class of 2018. I am a military brat. My dad retired after 28 years in the Army as a Brigade Command Sergeant Major. My Mom has worked as an IT Supervisor for the Department of Defense for 18 years. My collegiate goals are to play at the next level and earn a college degree. My aspirations is to play football but also call myself a student athlete and be the best I can be in the classroom which is my number one priority. I currently have a 3.8 CORE GPA, 22 on ACT, A/B Honor Roll, Member of the Christian Athlete Association and a member of the National Honor Society. I also volunteer in the summer as a youth counselor. I love to get after it in the classroom. It provides me with a sense of accomplishment, which I will continue to strive for. I try daily to be the best person I can be on and off the field. I think what makes me a good candidate for a college football program is that I am very outgoing and very fun to be around. But I also know when it’s time to be serious, like in the weight room during our off season program which I take very seriously. I train 6 days a week to improve my skills. I will get better. I love the game of football, more importantly I enjoy the daily grind and competition. I will be a leader from day one, once I step foot on a college campus as a young student athlete. I think what sets me apart from other recruits is that I am willing to do whatever it takes to be the best that I can be. I take pride in that. I get that drive from my parents.
